Covid-19 info

Recent events have forced us to redefine the concept of "cleanliness" within our establishment.

To ensure our guests' well-being and safety, here are our 7 golden rules now in effect in our Chalet.

1. Ventilation

The healthy country air, the spring air that fills the room when dawn comes. Soon summer will come, already lurking in the still shy rays of the rising sun.

The air, then, swirling and renewing itself in our interiors. It is our main concern; it is the air we breathe, the quality of which we will ensure.

2. Compliance with Covid regulations

Just a few weeks or months ago, the mention of "barrier gestures" would have reminded you of the eponymous guards who secured the roads as trains passed by-which could then hide others.

But today, having heard it over and over again, you know what these gestures cover: masks, gels and gloves, the victorious triptych against the spread of the virus that so suddenly bursts into our lives.

We strictly adhere to the guidelines set by the government.

It is difficult, however, to apply the "social distance" to cleaning a hotel room, as we do not yet have a robot sophisticated enough to pick up the towels lying in the bathroom. Perhaps one day...

3. Use of a good disinfectant

During a pandemic, can one distinguish between "good" and "bad" disinfectants? In itself, a disinfectant disinfects, you can tell and it is already very good. A disinfectant that degreases is a degreaser. And a disinfectant that "diffuses lavender and orange peel essential oils" is a scam.

We use products that meet the standards issued by the Environmental Protection Agency.

That is, they not only eliminate germs, bacteria and viruses, but also respect the integrity of nature and do not emit toxic substances.

4. Disinfected items

5. Use of disposable consumables

We use disposable cleaning products to make sure we do not transmit the virus.

Our products are made from recycled materials and are biodegradable.

6. Ultra-high temperature fabric washing

All our fabrics (sheets, curtains, towels, slippers...) are washed at a very high temperature. After trying 600° and noticing some loss of material in the washing process - as well as in the staff assigned to these tasks, we opted for 60°, which is much more modest in comparison, but is still much more suitable if you want to be able to take advantage of our cotton-based supplies.

7. Removal of non-essential documents and items

Exceptionally, we will remove all non-essential documents and items: decorative items, boring documentation about the thimble museum located 2 km away, 1991 yearbook.
